Lovely Teal Skirt

Lovely Teal Skirt One Skirt Two Ways

Over the long weekend, I purchased this lovely teal skirt, while I was vacationing in San Diego. What I love most about this skirt is the fact that it can be worn a multitude of ways. I’m always trying to re-configure clothing to serve multiple purposes; turning dresses to skirts and skirts to dresses (we have to maximize our wardrobe). In the first look, I wore the skirt with a plain white tank and let the accessories be the [...]

Vintage Dress

Vintage Dress Charm

As you may already know, I love all things vintage Dress. Whether it be a vintage bag or belt, or a full on ensemble like today’s look. Adding vintage pieces to an outfit gives it character. I am positively smitten with this yellow Stan Herman pant suit, and I find that the color is perfect for spring and summer. Also, I love the fact that I can separate these pieces and wear them with other things like. What do you think? Do you [...]

Romper Dress

Prancing About Romper Dress

I purchased this pretty playful Romper Dress while vacationing in San Diego over this past Memorial Day weekend.   I stumbled upon Paris and Me Boutique as I was strolling around the streets of Coronado Island, and it was immediate sensory overload. There were so many beautiful and colorful things dangling from the hangers that I didn’t even know where to begin. I purchased this Romper Dress along with some gorgeous kelly green shorts, and a double-breasted white blazer, score! Something about this lovely Romper Dress just says [...]

Plaid Trouser

Plaid Trouser in Finicky Weather

I just love this Plaid Trouser from H&M. They fit great and the weight is just right for the hot or cold weather. Speaking of the weather, it’s been so finicky lately.    It was so chilly when I left the house, and by lunchtime, the sun was out shining beautifully. At least I had a lightweight ’tissue’ turtleneck on underneath so I didn’t get too hot. Ah, the beauty of layering. On another note, I really love how the length of [...]

Mustard Wool Trousers Kept me Warm

I’ve been feeling a little under the weather the past couple of days, so I decided to bundle up a little. This mustard wool trousers kept me warm on a chilly and gloomy day in LA. I love these mustard wool trousers; I find that they are the perfect cut and weight for work. Also, I don’t know if you noticed, but I layered a black cardigan under my tweed jacket for a little-added warmth and because I wasn’t crazy about where [...]

Lengthy Dress

Lengthy Dress with a Silk Tops and a Belt

I decided to pair this lovely Lengthy Dress with a silk top and a belt to take it from a “strolling along the beach look” to a perfectly polished daytime ensemble. Also, I added flats instead of heels (it was so hard for me) because of the length of the dress. Flats are okay too — sometimes.   I love this Light Bright Full Skirt so much.

Summer Shorts Suit

Summer Shorts Suit with a Matching Shorts

Here is my take on the Summer Shorts Suit. This look is easy to recreate all you need is a great blazer to work with and you can pair it with any matching shorts of your choice. It’s chic and easy while being incredibly polished. Also, since you have the blazer you can take it from day to night easily; dress it up by adding a great printed top or something sparkly underneath.   Another Light Bright Full Skirt for summer seasons. White on White Look with Pretty Gold Accents

Today was a good day because I got to dust off a pair of my favorite shoes and take them out for a little spin. I decided to do a minimalist white on white look with pretty gold accents that I picked up in the heel of the shoe, the hardware on my bag, the buttons on the blazer, the jewelry, and in my scarf. The scarf acted as a shirt because I tied it in a way that caused it [...]
